Update on our foster placement, Jacob ❤️ It’s been almost a month since he joined our family and it’s been such a joy. The kids and I absolutely love him. He settled in with us so quick, which is uncommon within foster kids especially when they’ve been bounced back and forth in homes. I often get questions “After you get your foster placement, what is the process of getting them settled in?” Well, this is one of them! School enrollment 📚 To begin Jacob’s school enrollment, we get the proper documentation and start the process. I then take him to his favorite lunch spot so he can feel more comfortable and at ease. Starting at a new school can be a bit scary so it’s important that I make him feel at ease. Then we get the essentials and start getting ready! Of course weeks late
