As Weymouth contemplates a future without Condor Ferries, work is well underway in Poole to fit out the new £50M trimaran which will sail the route to the Channel Islands. In March the connection between Condor and Weymouth will end, as last year the company announced it was pulling out of the town in favour of Poole because in Weymouth the council wouldn't spend the £10M needed to accommodate the new bigger ferry.
