President Trump said the Iranian World Cup team is welcome to come play in the U.S., but then gave a reason for why they should probably skip.

Trump stated that Iran is welcome at the quadrennial spectacle slated to begin in June in North America, however added that it wouldn't be safe for the players travelling.
