Americans are paying, on average, 27 cents more for a gallon of gas since Sunday, data from AAA shows. That increase was partially fueled by a 10-cent jump that happened overnight Monday into Tuesday,

These factors have all combined to push gas prices up by 15 cents – or more – since Tuesday in 23 states, a Nexstar analysis of AAA data found. In Kentucky and Arkansas, the average price for a gallon of regular gas is up 21 and 20 cents, respectively, the largest increases in the nation.
